According to the U.S. military, Abdullah al-Ajmi was one of three men responsible for the deaths of seven members of Iraqi's security force. Last week, it was <A target="1" href="http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=XV0yAp0i4YywxEOB9%2FUCbR51u5eZrD5d">reported for the first time</A> that al-Ajmi had been formerly imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay. He was held for three years. Upon his release in Kuwait, he got married and had a child. But on April 26th, he strapped himself with explosives and blew himself up.</P></blockquote><div style="height: 2px; font-size: 2px; background: #dcdcdc; border-bottom: solid 1px #f5f5f5; margin: 2px 4px;"></div><blockquote style="text-align: left; padding: 0px 8px; margin: 4px 0px 8px 0px; background: transparent; border: none;" cite="https://webmail.optimum.net/iframe_lr.html"><P>As Guantanamo expert Andy Worthington recently <A target="1" href="http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=BneEDGAd7dqYePjcvF1J6x51u5eZrD5d">wrote</A>, al-Ajmi "recorded a martyrdom tape before his mission, which was translated by the US-based SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadist websites. On the audiotape, al-Ajmi apparently condemned conditions at Guantánamo as 'deplorable,' and stated, 'Whoever can join them and execute a suicide operation, let him do so.'"
