It reminds me of one of my favorite Biblical verses: “Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and endurance. Things that are hard always show your strength. Yup! I agree with ratilfar. Sometimes kindness has to be brutal to bring someone back to reality just for their own good, whether it hurts or not. That is so true baby. I agree that being genuinely 'kind' can often mean being strong in standing firm with what is true/right. But in a different vain...I once heard this: Not everyone can be beautiful, famous, wealthy, powerful or intelligent...but anyone can be Kind. I love that and believe it is so true. We have to help others, the right thing to do.If one has to be strong, OK, be nice if at all possible, do not look for trouble, there is enough for for everyone.
