In 1996, Congress told the EPA to develop a screening program to address the issue, but, according to one EPA scientist, the program has been stalled due to stonewalling by chemical industry reps who sit on the advisory committee.

So why let them stonewall? That's sort of like a bunch of doctors sitting around watching a guy bleed out because two of them think it'll hurt their reputation if they save him...

well.. sort of... i think you get what I'm going for ...

There was a story not too long ago about a 9 year old girl who got pregnant... I'm sorry, that is just frikin scary.
