Since republicans have made flag politics a cornerstone of their campaigns (instead of trying to solve problems that face average Americans everyday), you would think the leader of the conservatives and republicans wouldn't keep disrespecting the flag as he does here and on opening night of the olympics.

However, I do think this symbolizes something very profound. America has gone backward under Bush and the republican presidency.

So let's see we have William Ayers standing on the flag and we have George W. Bush himself standing on the image of the flag. Both desecrations of the flag.

I think it's pretty well established for anyone who hasn't buried there head in the sand that evidence to the contrary about WMD's was withheld. The latest is that Dick Cheney OK'd the fake document linking Al Qaeda with Iraq according to our own CIA operative.

So that's how republicans honor the flag. By lying the U.S. into a criminal war and drapping them over the coffins of dead soldiers who never had to die.
