Hmm - while this is an interesting concept (it seems like might be triggering a routine that looks for an SOS), I highly doubt it will work. I'd love to hear reports for people who try this.

If it does affect the light, It's also going to mess with traffic sequences up and down the road, potentially causing traffic headaches just so you can cross the road a few seconds faster. If this is an emergency tool built into traffic lights, I'd say, leave it for emergencies.

or it just kills time until the light changes anyway
