I can believe it. Last week, at midnight, I was dressed in summer clothes and I had the fan on, it was that hot, but here's the thing - IT'S MID WINTER. This is the weirdest winter of my life. Looks like both northern and southern hemispheres have been experiencing extreme weather, Michelle. A couple of weeks ago a friend visited South Africa and she mentioned about "weird weather" when she came back. Likewise, Australians and Chileans don't look very happy about the weather. Let's wait and see northern hemisphere's winter this year. Here in south Texas, we MIGHT hit 95 this week. Usually, that's the LOW for summertime. But the 40+ days of rain kept things weird. I especially worry about Texas too. I remember Mousie's comments last year about unusual weather conditions. Looks like Texas' climate has been changing a lot in recent years, becoming the "state of floods". Weird. Yeah, people who never knew they lived in flood plains have just found out. Not that I don't like rain, but 40+ straight days was a bit much. Wiccantexan, the heat is melting my face off. I miss all the rain. We had a heat index of 106 yesterday. My plants are wondering why they are so thirsty suddenly, haha. We had a heat index of 106 yesterday. In other words, back to normal. That is what I keep telling myself, "Only one more month." That tornado in NYC yesterday was bizarre. It made me think "Day After Tomorrow". |
