haraya says: "It was T.S. Eliot himself who rejected George Orwell’s Animal Farm for publication by Faber and Faber..." The book is good, but every time they`ve tried to make it into a movie they`ve failed miserably because they keep tacking a "happy" ending onto it. The whole point of George Orwell`s dystopia is that at the end, things are no better (or in fact worse) than they were at the beginning. Also true of 1984. |
