I once heard from some camper friends that sleeping naked in your sleeping bag will keep you warmer, as well, as it promotes better circulation of body heat within the bag. I don't know if it's true, as I don't camp, but perhpas some of you camping clippers would like to comment. Interesting clip, by the way. I'm all for anything that makes us feel more comfortable in our own bodies. people today are entirely too self-conscious. camping always has bugs. I slept naked once and awoke in the middle of the night to find a BUG on my rear end.... EEEEEWWWWW! LOL "Does it matter if I wear boxer shorts instead of sleeping naked?" Wearing any clothing could potentially cause discomfort while you sleep, as fabrics press against the skin and elastics cause tightness around the waist. You are more likely to roll around to alleviate the discomfort, potentially causing restless sleep. aproved! now let's try naked naps to see its benefits XD And in the wintertime? I have an automatic thermostat that turns the heat down in the house to 62º F, it would be very chilly to get up and make a potty break at 62º. Summer wouldn't be bad, but I'd have to put on a robe to use the toliet in the winter. Gets my approval for summer, spring and fall. I was told the same thing about the sleeping bag, but only if you fart and zip it up! LOL I sleep on a regular basis naked & switched years ago. It started with no pajamas & then underclothes. Its taken awhile to do it while camping/backpacking because of the cold & needing to use the facilities in the middle of the night but a close friend of mine has done it for years with no compromises. He seems to be all the better for it. Great Clip; wouldn't do it, but loved the comments Love that BIG ol' Bug on the BUTT ! LOL Folks! 1488 views and 31 pops within two weeks! That's a crazy world I'm living in... OF COURSE I use to sleep naked. I couldn't even fall asleep with clothes near to my skin. (That's why I can't stand detentions in a hospital!) |
