The 1st BCT's soldiers also will learn how to use "the first ever nonlethal package that the Army has fielded," 1st BCT commander Col. Roger Cloutier said, referring to crowd and traffic control equipment and nonlethal weapons designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals without killing them.

"It's a new modular package of nonlethal capabilities that they're fielding. They've been using pieces of it in Iraq, but this is the first time that these modules were consolidated and this package fielded, and because of this mission we’re undertaking we were the first to get it."

The package includes equipment to stand up a hasty road block; spike strips for slowing, stopping or controlling traffic; shields and batons; and, beanbag bullets.

The BushCo. neocons driven by Major Shoot You In The Face must have something planned that they think is going to bring the people into the streets in huge numbers. Canceling the election, maybe?

Maybe it is in preparation for the reaction to the bailouts. The majority of the general population strongly opposes them, there could be an uprising when, and I do mean when not if, they are passed. I really do think this is the planned destruction of our economy. The WMDs have been found, and they were on the floor of the NYSE all along!

Oops... just one other note. I have a feeling that either way, whatever the decision is to 'bail out,' there will unrest. Period.

When I drank, I usually agreed with the bartender. I again do so. I suggest that McCain/Palin are fronts of normality (?) until someone can be invaded. It will have to be a short war though; no troops left.
