This is my one year old when we were at the neighbors house for an easter egg hunt. Needless to say, he got a little distracted by Dave the cat.

...as a cat person- please don't let your son have his face this close to a cat again. They can react unpredictably if they somehow suddenly feel threatenened (which is how small children make them feel)...A cat claw in the eye is not funny nor cute...

You can rest assured that there was no potential issue here. He knows how to act around cat's as we have 3 at home, and this cat lives with a child my sons age that he deals with on a daily basis. If I didn't know the cat as well as I do, trust me, he would have been no where near it.
