But they forgot to write, that for the present this reactors need more energy to hold their magnetic fields, than its output will be. The Russians had such a model of fusion-reactor tested in the 70ies. This time they weren't able to hold this fields much time by the reason of the gigantic use of energy. Unless the recovering of cold fusion, the problem barely will be solved! This is like the search for philosopher's stone!

More efficient magnetic fields (aka new magnetic materials) could make this feasible though
