Fascism is not benign, only in its appearance. It will take three generations or more for America to realize the true danger that is facing the US today. This is not funny but very, very dangerous. I wish we would openly treat them like the fascists they are and say so. Like an alcoholic, we must first recognize what the implications are and where we are heading with this "benign right wing". It was "Un-American" for a while, now it is "Un-Patriotic" and the appropriate Department will soon follow. Fascism is alive in America and doing very, very well.

You are so right, the difficulty lies in getting the populace to admit that this is exactly what they are promoting with this so called party patriotism. With Washington not living up to its responsibilities here at home, while freely spending billions for corporate reasons maliciously around the world, we are in for a rough ride.
