I despise Hall for what he's doing, but the quote, "She wanted to do nude dancing" was Hall quoting the CNMI Attorney General. So Hall isn't outright saying that Katrina's full of s#!t, he just tries to make it more palatable. If you read his speech, you'll see that he tries to convince Rep. Abercrombie that the CNMI officials are:

a) Not involved in child prostitution.

"The CNMI official report also stated: 'The allegations that one of the club owners worked for the CNMI government is untrue. It should be noted that all the club employees and its owners are Philippine citizens."

c) Just good, trustworthy, and more importantly valuable allies to the United States.

"I have high regard for the CNMI officials. Saipan, and the rest of the CNMI, are very important to the United States, and are very loyal to the United States and very strategic to the United States. We should support their entire leadership, and help them to address problems set out in the Reader's Digest article."

And then sprinkled throughout his speech he suggests that Katrina was probably just a dirty little whore anyways, who faked a passport and birth certificate so she could gain employment in an upscale Northern Mariana bordello.

"General Dunlap writes, "It is extremely important to note that the complainant had been dancing in the nude in a Manila nightclub for several years before she came to Saipan. Her entry to the Northern Marianas was a fraud as her passport and birth certificate were doctored... The article alleges that she was forced to perform lewd sex acts with customers before a video camera. The attorney general's report further states, 'In fact, the said tape was produced...

Talk about enterprising! All of 15 and she's already got several years of nude dancing on her résumé! And, this girl -- she has vision. She's so set on this career path that she found someone to doctor a passport and birth certificate for her, just so she could further her ambitions! What a girl.

I guess I just don't understand why we're even having this debate, because the whole Reader's Digest article that exposed this story is supposedly erroneous and misleading.

So, no, Hall isn't exactly slandering Katrina. He's just a morally bankrupt POS with an agenda that clearly favors relations with the CNMI to the rights of a 15 year old girl who was in all likelihood kidnapped, enslaved and then forced in to prostitution.
