blueridge says: Cluster bombs do not "target" militants tightly, urban areas especially. "Collateral damage" is absolutely guaranteed. More evidence that Israel is not making war on just Hamas, but Palestinians in their "collective punishment" tactics. The first pic was posted on Drudge. The last link in this clipmark has posted the CNN video showing general news of the Israeli attacks on Gaza which inadvertantly captured these bombs in action. 93 nations have banned them, except for US, Russia, and Israel. And white phosphorus shells as well. No Collateral damage in today's world, it's planned and intended destruction, death and intimidation. The worst qualities of humanity except maybe the limitless ability to rationalize such horror. As long as Occupation exists Peace will be missing. Then Israel should have said no thank you to the UN and settled somewhere else. Correction, could be wrong ID. TimesOnline (UK) says these are phosphorous shells, including for "anti-personnel" purposes as well as smoke screens. Then Israel should have said no thank you to the UN and settled somewhere else.I've the perfect solution. The Malvinas or Falkland Islands!!! It would solve many problems. Most important is there would be no one for the Zionist to attack! They could sheep shag to their hearts content and save the children from abuse. Argentina would feel that the use of their islands would be for the good of all mankind by not remaining in the control of the old imperialists. The UK could feel that it could give up its tenure of the Islands without feeling that another wasteful war was necessary. Okay, some new analysis from this article, which takes the Times London (comment and linked above by me)--a Murdoch publication--to task for changing the captions on the same pictures! It turns out the Times article was itself an editorial "smokescreen": The image above is captioned.in the London Times, as "Israeli artillery shells explode with a chemical agent designed to create smokescreen for ground forces." But last night the same picture was simply captioned as an artillery shell exploding over Gaza and other similiar images at AFP/Getty are similiarly captioned. O[b]... Bullcrap, those are not DPICM rounds. Those do not leave those kind of smoke trails or bright pinpoints of light at the end. In fact what you would see with a DPICM round would be a rather feeble explosion in the air, little or no trails (depending on humidity, and even then not thick white trails like the ones above) and then a riot of fire-cracker like explosions (with sounds to match) at the points of impact. Phosphorous is clearly apparent in at least one of the clipmark pictures, definitely delivered by a Cluster munition, but phosphorous is an incendiary weapon meant to start fires (here over an urban area), not produce "smoke", primarily. My proof is here, from a neocon propaganda front too, in an article by Global Security, on the same photos: Israel used White Phosphorus against HAMAS targets in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead in January 2009. ...White Phosphorus (WP), known as Willy Pete, is used for signaling, screening, and incendiary purposes.Argue with him if you ... Israel and the neocons are working hard, through the press, realizing that the Propaganda War is even more important than the real war, which true purposes is based upon lies. Like the Iraq war, there is no justification based upon truth, which sound bites of "self defense" cannot hide. Now reports from a doctor and direct eye witness here: Doctor Mads Gilbert is a member of a Norwegian triage medical team present in the besieged Gaza Strip. Likely speaking of different weapons than those pictured: Dr. Mads Gilbert:The findings about the uranium I cannot tell you much about, but I can tell you that we have clear evidence that the Israelis are using a new type of very high explosive weapons which are called Dense Inert Metal Explosive (DIME) and are made out of a tungsten alloy. |
