Thanks for highlighting her statement: "all dictators prop themselves with religion". Never more truth to that. Always has been - always will be, unfortunately.

Religion is the opium of the people - keeps them under control. In sales we have an expresstion, a rule, really: "Emotion sells -Logic justifies" - get em' sucked into the deal with emotion first. Religion is emotion based on faith - or emotion now - logic later.

What happens when "religion" IS the emotion and IS the logic, too? The people are sold to irrational fundamentalism, justifacation of unrighteous acts, immoral war and unspeakable inhumanity.

Fundamentalism used in this case used to characterize religious advocates as clinging to a stubborn, entrenched position that defies reasoned argument or contradictory evidence.
