how can we equate this with food? just because we don't have to smell the manure ourselves...

I really didn't want to know this information nor did I need to see the picture. The reality of our protein products and what is allowable to pumping up our beef, pork, poultry and the whole nine yards just to get it to the market. I am now understanding why so many people are vegetarians, vegans, and going the organic route.

it's pretty depressing.
not just that our food is so contaminated, but that there is such a disrespect for these living beings. Just because they will wind up as someone's food eventually doesn't mean we need to torture them their whole lives...
