kkcapricorn says: This is a good thing. Use of natural agents can help reduce dependence on drug companies Yes indeed, back to mother nature's cures. I have been in contact with very poor people from Southern Russia and they use Honey for infections and many other Buddist monk treatments especially sage for infection. It is placed in very hot water then inhaled. Sorry my friend for my last failed clip, appears I am still inept at transferring clips in the newlook Clipmarks I'm a total freak with stuff like this. I have never trusted pharmaceutical companies (why should I?) and I have always used honey, among other things. Crumpled cabbage leaves are good for healing wounds too and garlic? Oh my goodness, books have been written on it's healing properties. Tea tree oil is fabulous for any and everything too. Yup, I'll stick to Nature's cures over a pill in a bottle any day. Any day!! Here's a trick. Using honey can be a bit of a sticky affair. Boil a potato and take off the skin and carefully scrape all the potato pulp off the peel. Use the boiled cleaned peel as a natural band aid and stick it on top of the honey. Potato peel is excellent for healing minor burns too. It lets the skin breathe. Keep the peel stuck on with a regular band aid, if needed. It seems to keep scarring down too, but that may just be a biased observation. It's ironic that we discover the healing properties of honey, while the bees are getting sick. I love honey on cereal, rather than sugar. Refined sugar needs to be broken down by the digestive system, into simpler sugars, while natural sugars, like those in honey, and fruit (fructose) being natural, are recognized by the system and more easily processed into energy, along with the essential nutrients they include. Honey and fruit are sugar with bells and whistles |
