There will be a market for these smaller cars, but how many families can fit theirs into one? They are going to be super dangerous on our highways; ie. collisions and in the long run cost people more. This is nothing but pure blackmail.

All the while, those in power will continue to sport about in whatever, usually at taxpayers expense, and the really, really good plan for energy independence is going down the drain. Control us by increasing the price of gasoline so that we can't afford the vehicles we want, are appropriate for our households, offer a reasonable amount of physical security, etc... There is not enough space to say everything about why I hate this.

You are right, gas prices are simply too damn low for liberals, especially Obama, so I'm sure a gas tax hike will be coming shortly. Once Obama Motors starts cranking out the shoebox cars you can bet the government (aka obama & his congress) will impose a huge tax increase on gas so as to force the public to buy the shoeboxes.

I too as so damn mad I see red.....I doubt the country can survive four years of this idiot and his dopey congress.
