Yeah, privacy is a good thing, but let's consider that you have a right to not disclose your personal information in the first place. The technology itself is not evil....how people use it is....especially if they are helped inadvertently by unsuspecting consumers. I'd be more afraid of our government and the recent unlimited web history they want on millions of Americans....for what purposes beyond just terrorism. Yup, I can see this guy's arguement. You're right about that! The more 'they' protect us, the more our rights will be violated. Bin Laden may not be winning the war, but he sure has won a few battles and the more we lose in the way of, in this case, even more of our privacy, the more he's winning!! I don't mean to get into a discussion about him or his 'battles', I'm simply agreeing with your assessment of our current situation. I try to stay away from politics and religion!! LOL LOL I'm not sure why they're saying that MySpace doesn't have a proper business model. Whether you like the site or not, it's business is model is clearly advertising. And with a user base that large, their potential advertising revenue makes them worth a lot of money. |
