That must mean that since Ahmedinijad is a Muslim and calls for the extermination of the Jewish State, and supports Obama, then Obama must be a Muslim and support the extermination of the Jewish State.

It must also mean that Obama is a terrorist since he is supported by Bill Ayers.

It must also mean that Obama is a definitely a racist and black supremacist since he is supported by the Black Panthers and Farrakahn and his 'Nation of Islam'.

It must also mean that we can consider Ayers, Farrakhan, Ahmedinijad, and Chavez to be Obama's paid political advisers. We certainly would not want there to be a 'double standard'.

From Bill Moyers:
"Jon Stewart recently played a tape from the Nixon White House in which Billy Graham talks in the oval office about how he has friends who are Jewish, but he knows in his heart that they are undermining America. This is crazy; this is wrong - white preachers are given leeway in politics that others aren’t.

Which means it is all about race, isn’t it? Wright’s offensive opinions and inflammatory appearances are judged differently. He doesn’t fire a shot in anger, put a noose around anyone’s neck, call for insurrection, or plant a bomb in a church with children in Sunday school. What he does is to speak his mind in a language and style that unsettle some people, and says some...

I wont dispute that in that I think there is a whole lot going on around the issue of race in this country that we (particularly, but not exclusively, we white Americans) cannot see or hear.

But I would not discount the compensatory psychological "evening out" that the decision makers in the mainstream media do. They actually believe the Right-wing propaganda and think of themselves as liberal-left and the country as a whole as conservative. This is false. The mainstream media is establishmentarian (be that establishment 'left' or 'right') and the country on a whole a hodge podge depending on a number of factors.

Here is a nice summary timeline of McCain and Hagee's involvement.

What is critical here is Hagee's cliam that John McCain sought, repeat sought, Hagee's support.

Mike Huckabee, dropped out republican candidate for president, condemened John Hagee................ for endorsing McCain.

Does comedy get any better than this? I love republican slapstick.

Thought-provoking insight! I've been looking for a word that would describe what seemed to me as pro-corporate, but it seemed like there was more to it than that.
