Very interesting that the economy did indeed create 11 million jobs, and many of them better paying than the job that were eliminated in the economy.

Bad news for real estate in 2007 caused construction job losses, the good news is that this should put some downward pressure on labor pricing in construction allowing better prices. If lots, due to supply and demand, and construction labor, due to supply and demand, and commodoties all decrease then there could be a surge in 2008 in places.
