I would have thought that acceptable limits for arsenic would be close to zero ( unless treating syphilis in the 19th and early 20th centuries).

The study found that some people eliminate more than 90 percent of the arsenic consumed in the diet. Consumption of seafood, the article notes, is another major source of arsenic contamination.
