Sounds like now is the time to get out from under your credit card debt, at half the cost.

Better do it quickly though, this could change.

If anyone is having problems with calls from debt collectors calling, let them call a couple more times. If it's already against your credit, they will absolutely take up to 2/3rds off of the balance (after they've called a couple of times). It will show up as paid on your credit in a few months. I was a collector at one time and they are happy to negotiate- I hope no one has that problem, but just in case.....
