celestialdancer says: I found this clip incredibly interesting and hilarious at the same time. I saw another article about this in live science that gets into a little more detail. What I found interesting is that most people didn't make the false positive connection and was coming up, instead, with all kinds of strange explanations. http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/090927-dead-salmon-brain.html I liked the quirkiness of the article. Yet, also understanding how, memes energize, I leave an open space for "truth" from this experiment, false positives and all. Chestnut, Knowing how my imagination influences reality and having many a surreal moment I am better equipped to know that I can believe or disbelieve anything. The "ultimate truth" is always something completely different. Understanding "memory" and it's Influence is a great place to start and then acknowledging the things we consciously choose to believe, is yet, another shift in the ultimate "soup" we call "reality". |
