I am hoping to make most of my stuff and watch my relatives cringe. Actually, every year for the past 3 years we have only given each other small gifts and pooled the money for gifts that we would have purchased into one pot. We then take that money and donate it to a charity of our choice. Each year, a family member picks a charity.
