Just don't know enough to say, technically, but it seems universally condemned by both OAS and UN, so I think it unlikely. Of course, in the past, it hasn't really mattered whether it was legal or not, the US simply did it.

If military vehicles must block the runway of all airports in the country, the junta seems to be afraid, that the president's person alone is able to push them out of their positions. That the people want their president back, is clear. Or did anybody see civilians demonstrate against him? How can it be lawful, if a group of generals take over the power and throw out the legitimate leader? What a kind of question is this? This is that kind of coup d'etat that was practiced in latin america many times during the last 200 years and that commonly was backed by USA, when any nation voted for a leader, that wasn't at their gusto.
That Obama says, he want back democracy in Honduras, are some word...
