I've been drinking a lot of green ginger tea lately, delicious stuff. I reckon it's time to move on up to Yerba Mate, even for the placebo effect.

I don''t know wher to find it in Tennessee. Here in DC it's found in most LatinAmerican markets.

Be aware some places may charge you $12/pound!!
In a market it cost about $4/kg (almost 2 pounds)

Online is somewhere in between.

You may want to start with the Yerba Mate drinking set so you get the gourd and the bombilla (and the instructions) After that, if you like it you only need to buy the yerba mate. Some yerbas are mixed with other herbs. ...

the best Mate I have found is a little more expensive, but is "cleaner" and "sweeter" than others and comes in several flavors plus the traditional yerba mate in tea bags or loose for brewing in a french press or a Mr. Coffee. The web site is www.yerba-mate.com
