No matter how much we argue with each other, insanely, stupidly, brilliantly, or forcefully, republican, democrat or indifferent, we should all remember what we have a precious gift. The right to protest, the right to our voices being heard.

The human right to peaceful gathering and protest.

I hope we all remember as Americans, as July 4th approaches, how beautiful that gift is, and also remember those who have given their lives in our country and all around the world for this basic human right.
