outstanding clip...however, I think the mere idea of a web 3.0 poses a bit of a conundrum.

the nexus of web 2.0 is the ability for users to dictate structure/content for the web. from there, the *users* will dictate the next phase of the web. it will be socially constructed, an emerging technology.

assigning a structure to the next evolutionary phase seems to confine it to a set of *growth parameters*. while it IS true that any growth will have to fit in the confines of available languages/syntaxes, web 2.0 comes right back and allows users to *redefine* the realm of creation (thanks to open-source coding).

After having time to read the full article, I have to admit, I am really excited right now. If the web goes in the direction that this article addresses, I am very much looking forward to Web 3.0. The most exciting part of the article to me was the highlight of RSS and it's future impact. I've just now realized the importance of RSS and for those that GET IT, RSS will be the way that users can empower the way they digest the internet.
