After careful examination of the piece at hand

I see the reason for this - first, the boy facing the camera has a big 'S' on his helmet (ie could be for the original author of the piece, maybe it's him at some point past). Second - the author is still on (pardon me) dial-up, so he can't clip images with men and only has bandwidth for boy imagery. This of course may not be totally accurate but plausible... at least for a chuckle...
