The major problem is the Taleban leader here is dead! This is really over-the-top, amazing that a "remote phone call" could be considered a credible source of news and published as such.

The 35-year-old leader of Tehrik-e-Taleban Pakistan (Movement of Taleban Pakistan), made the claims after taking the highly unusual step of telephoning Western news organisations from an undisclosed location.

It was him, really....back from the dead. Right!

Just like the conjured up "bin Laden" tapes, the cabal of Anglo-American propagandists is trying to pull a fast one to legitimize the Bush-Obama and Britain's "war on terrorism" into Pakistan.

Visit the Legitgov.org link to see the articles and case made that this is disinformation for public consumption to justify war expansion, and to re-blame Taleban for 9/11 and India attacks, while there is no hard evidence (except this phony "take responsibility" news) connecting them with any of the attacks.

Taliban Leader Baitullah Mehsud Dead
Last Updated: 01-10-2008 10:29:31

According to CNN report Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud is dead from kidney failure. He is the same person on whom the Pakistan government has put allegation that he had killed former Pak PM Benazir Bhutto on December 27, 2007.
The confirmation of his death has come from local TV channels Geo Television and others.
Note, the patsy for the Bhutto murder too!

The BBC, the MSM, are being manipulated to parrot lies, which the government then uses as a basis of facts, and repeats. This is proof!

The cited CNN source should be sufficient. Both FOX and CNN had reported the death of bin Laden until the the propaganda machine cranked up again.

Americans should be more afraid, statistically, of crimes, random shootings (note last weekend, the nursing home), car accidents, domestic violence and murders (reported frequently), than acts of "terrorism", and that allegedly from the remote mountains of Pakistan. It is irrational to fear this.

If anything did happen it should be marked as highly suspicious, since any pre-announcement like this would remove the element of surprise, generally used in acts of terrorism, and works too well to promote Obama's Af-Pak war on terrorism policy, which is merely a "makeover" of Bush's.

More on the spread of this story.FOX News, of course (the one's who brought you the Iraq War), are pushing this Taleban threat here. Watch how FOX operates here, leaning on Private rather than Government sources for its headline to make a story.

1. note what the FBI spokesman they quote says:

FBI spokesman Richard Kolko told FOXNews.com that the bureau is not aware of a specific or imminent threat to the United States. He added, without elaborating, that Mehsud has made similar threats to the U.S..
2. now their Private source, the Heritage Foundation, with neocon ties from a "terrorism expert":

Just read a clip about a woman who wanted reincarnation of the victim as part of the plea. Maybe Mehsud should have joined that mob,
