dulios says: Sure, I filled in the circle next to the name Obama, but it wasn't him I was voting for -- it was every single one of us, and those I love most of all. Actually, It's people like yourself that I feel the most sorry for. I mean, at least we see it coming....at least we won't feel betrayed, used. But then again, for a long time at least, you won't feel bad because you'll be in a state of denial. I realize that you have worked long and hard for this....well, not this, but what you think you're getting. There are a lot of good hearted people like yourself being used by the Socialists to get what they want. Now, I'm not talking about the same Socialist you think I'm talking about. You're thinking about the "good" ones. But, unfortunatly, the good ones will never have the power or the money to get into power. What is undeniable about human na... Voting for Obama is a voting for our future and voting of America. If the Democrat was white and 72 while the Republican was black and young, who would you vote for? There is little difference between them in reality and neither will do much about the slide given the pork system at home and away. Yet, given that, would it not be worth it to get rid of the tag of RACISM that you are still stuck with. So, if in doubt, vote BLACK. Simple. Makes sense this time. I would but I would not want to have the right. Just remember the chads. Chestnut; he's not a Socialist. Get over it. You, however, are an Antisocialist, who wants to drag us back to the era of children slaving away all day, just to get fed bad food, and people working 12-14 hour days and getting little pay for it. That is the America you are pulling for. dulios, if you get tired if chestnut's ranting you can block him lol, That's right dulios. If you get tired of my "ranting" you can block me just like princess#1 did, then you can bug me on my clips just like she did too. I'm sure she'd be happy to show you how its done. prin1, dulios is one tough cookie and she takes care of herself pretty good. In fact over on one of the other websites, her avatar (is that right?) anyway her avatar has a gun......don't mess with dulios. The one good thing about chestnuts is he encourages us all to fight, and advocate and race on to the finish line. I like all those items mentioned in the clip, OP, but I'll add that both candidates are NOT the same, that who we vote for DOES make a difference, and that Obama is a much better man, with intelligence, decency and integrity -- we're lucky he's around. Thank God the last eight years of Republican nightmare will soon be coming to an end -- the end of the dominance of politics that is rude and insulting, the end of politics that tries to win by campaign smears, the end of politics based on hate and fear, the end of thug politics that wants to divide and conquer. Unity is more po... heck, if none of those mean anything, vote for yourself (and your children if you have any). i'm winding up 8 years of republican rule carrying thousands of dollars of debt which are just my share of the governmet debt run up due to the war and to deregulation of the securities industry, after a lifetime of carefully keeping myself from getting in over my head debtwise. and my kids and grandchildren are starting their life with thousands of dollars of debt the instant they are born. her avatar has a gun.Uh, not. What is undeniable about human nature is the constant quest for power and money.Speak for yourself! Not all people (or countries) worship money and power, as much as some others, I can assure you. The means cannot justify the end if the means are wrong. When the means are wrong....they poison the end.You mean... like in Iraq? Or the War on Terror? Or the Patriot Act? Or the MCA 2006? Good point, chestnut. Well said. Odds & Ends (from reading posts, above) The amount of debt in student loans that young people have when they graduate from college is horrible! Way wrong and may cripple them for a long, long time. (The amount of interest credit cards charge is also horrible -- and at other times in history or in other countries, would be considered crimes, usury -- in vivid contrast, the amount of interest people get paid on their savings sucks) _____ Torture, indefinite detention -- who could deny that these are good things? To Dulios: Bless your liberal tolerant compassionate heart baby. Conservatives have tried to block or reverse every bit of social and political progress for at least two centuries. If they had their way at each step we'd still have slavery, aristocracy, and monarchy everywhere; little freedom of speech, the press, or religion, no universal suffrage; no social safety net. This vision, this nostalgia, lives on in the hearts of conservatives. They watch for every opportunity to turn the clock back a bit more. They are patient and under Reagan, Bush, and Bush, they've had a field day, but I'm confident they will lose in then end. Trust me, the threat is far from gone, but it's time for the country to move on. Forward, ho! Wow. |
