I think CAIR knows this show hits a little too close to home. How many sleeper cells are actually in this country right now? Nobody knows because the ACLU won't let us monitor their phone calls.

I watched the second segment of this 6th season and I thought the *writers* were trying to be fair. That boyfriend of the President's sister (the one put in jail) is Muslim and appears to be detecting plots around him in the jail. Perhaps he will the the program's attempt to show that not all Muslims are terrorists but able to be Americans too.

I think there's a lot going on in our Country that (of course) we don't know about concerning terror cells. How many testimonies have we heard over the last years from the neighbors or friends...."but they seemed so nice." That's brought out by the gullible family across the street in the series.

I like the bumper sticker I saw after Sept. 11. "Don't be afraid, be aware"

Maybe if the terrorists in real life weren't Muslims 24 might change their approach.....

But until I see ANY protests in the streets of ANY country denouncing these acts by a small portion of their faith.... I have no sympathy or guilt for any enjoyment I get from watching Jack Bauer kill these Islamofascists.

And I agree that we don't know whats going on in our country (in any degree of detail). And that's the way it should be. If WE know what "we" know, then so do "they". And Lord knows the NY Times wouldn't hesitate to spill the beans. Big mistake killing off Dennis Haysbert's President Palmer, and I loved the woman who played Shari Palmer; Man, she was intense. Anyway, the guy who plays the current President Palmer is totally unbelievable as President. The first major flaw in 24. Can I get a witness?
