Although I am not a supporter of the NRA, I would sincerely hope that allegations of anti-Semitism within the organization are not true. That being said, however, the Octopus imagery does have an anti-Semitic history. So, we have to figure out of this was intentional or accidental. I really am not comfortable making that call either way.

Oh yes, egoldstein, I couldn't agree with you more. I am very much in favour of gun control and I truly admire Mayor Bloomberg's position on the issue. It's interesting that here in Canada, gun control was not much of an issue, until our new neo-con Harper government took power in a minority parliament. Harper is a huge admirer of President Bush, and he emulates many of his policies. Now, suddenly gun control has become a major issue with this government. The rest of the country still is not in favor or ending restrictions, but the Harper government is doing its best to do away with most of our gun control laws.
