Republicans are now the party of Big Government. The defense portion is higher also than any time since WWII. While Americans are pinched, the Federal Leviathan is sucking in and spending like never before, and under a republican president.

Additionally, they -- the Republicans -- describe themselves as the party of 'fiscal responsibility,' smaller government. I guess this is like calling yourself a holy man while going out and robbing banks...deceiving the minds of your victims always helps in the scams.

The 'joke,' that even makes some Republicans wince is the Bush claim that this is a Balanced Budget, claiming it will be balanced in the year 2012.

So I guess he claims four-years of some other president will adhere to mess and someone else will clean it all up.
