I agree about disagreeing about narrowing the world into blue or red. Throughout my life I've found this very annoying.

According to the general idea of these stereotypes and narrow definitions, I guess I would be somewhat red and then somewhat blue.

I like hearing Barack Obama saying: "We are not red states, we are not blue states; we are the United States of America."

This week a former basketball star -- who apparently has an interest in politics -- was being interviewed on the Larry King Show.
