The salary mention is bizarre -- imagine if they included the salary of everyone mentioned in any news article.

2006</div><p></p><div class="StoryBody"><!--startindex--><b class="Dateline">MIDDLEFIELD, Ohio  -- </b>It's a mystery in the Amish country of northeast Ohio.<p></p><p></p>It seems that someone, perhaps a home gardener, is taking manure droppings from hitching rail posts outside stores in Middlefield east of Cleveland. <p></p><p></p>The hitching posts are a common site in the Amish country of Geauga County and are used by Amish while they shop.<p></p><p></p>The woman paid $25,000 a year by Middlefield to clean hitching rail areas daily says someone has been taking manure.
