wildcat says:
Without such a promiscuous capacity for trust, an infant whose mother abandoned it or died shortly after its birth would face certain doom if it were unable to swap preferences for an adoptive parent.

We adopted our son at 17 months old. It was incredible to see how determined he was that we should love him. He bowled us over. He went out of his way to be lovable.

He's still lovely, 16 years old last weekend.

I know.

It's great being an adoptive parent.

You can boast about your boy in a way that might seem a bit conceited with a genetic link.

If you had grown up thinking your mom was inside that noisy plane—or was that noisy plane—you'd have gladly tolerated it, too.
now all is solved i could never imagine my mom in the plane or as the plane - may be that`s why it was hard finding any tolerance .... -)))

And .. warm congrats thisnamecantbetaken !!

Well, no harm in admiring the beautiful scenery syncopath. Even I can recognize a dashing young man when I see one. It doesn't mean I am gonna flag them all down though! *LOL*

Lifestar is just kidding btw. I'm single, so... see? It's just fun.

@TN: things I like about gentleman (as opposed to men)
are they will ask you how they can fix a problem (friends, family, work, etc. Real gentlemen open doors and carry packages. Real gentlemen don't allow anyone to treat me with sincere disrespect. I like it that gentlemen take care of the ladies
@ JohnWaterman, you have a really nice young son there, who I am sure you are raising to be son to be a fine young gentleman.
