In some parts of rural America these relationships can become very convoluted, Deepti! Jokes are made about people going to their family reunion to get a date. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy is noted for redneck humour like this.

I'm not passing any kind of judgment on relationships of rural America since there are some simillar 'convoluted relationships' among some communities of South India (including my own), which you guys may find incestuous. It's a little difficult to explain. Try your luck with this site I came across.
