Let's challenge this common politically-correct kind of thinking. Is it a "human right" to commit adultery, invade another's marriage, or violate one's own? Even nature avenges itself. It was inconsistent to stone the man and let the woman go free, therefore inequitable, even by their laws.

Wow, the woman got off this time? Amazing. She might have some connections.

I don't know blue...I don't see adultery as an offense that is punished in the US. Yes, some will take the "law" into their own hands, but rarely. "By nature people believe adultery should be punished..." Yes, they do. It's a violation of a covenant commitment and I believe known instinctively to be a serious offense against the spouse and other family members. I wish it were more of a public disgrace than it has become.
