This is a real story based on an experiment organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people.

The Washington Post won a Pulitzer in the feature writing category for Gene Weingaten's April 2007 story about this experiment.

A beautiful clip. As soon as I saw it I recalled the clip which points to the presence of beauty in the ordinary, how we pass by beauty every day. http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/2135B764-0B43-4354-B605-06D0E7E9A57D/
