The only thing he is stimulating is a mass depression. How is it *good* for our Country to have this monumental debt while on a personal level it's not?

These people really, really think we're this dumb?

He (they) are grasping at straws, any glimmer of hope is seized upon as the end of our troubles while he and Congress look for new ways to keep us down.

1.3 Trillion - no problem, print more, buy more jets for Pelosi. They are complete lunatics.

To seriously cut foreign debt there would have to be a real hike up in taxation. There is simply not enough revenue taken in taxation to cover the costs of running the country.....hence the massive loans sought from China and japan etc.

foxy...I'm just not convinced of that. There is already coming some real hikes in taxation and I'd rather my dollars went to the deficit than 80% of the Congressional proposals. And the thought of China (of all places) owning us is disgusting.
