That made me shudder. Thanks Johns, this one goes into my folder. Oops, they forgot to count the other hidden costs : loss of soft power of the US, los of influence, millions of people actually boycotting US products, rise of terrorism, etc. Boycott of US-Products? I like to do so - but what products? Weapons?!! Oranges, Walnuts and Raisins? The Californian Wine is too expensive and not the same like a good french or spanish wine ... the Chilenian costs a third an is as good as the Cal. ! Chewing gum, Coca Cola and Marlboro will be made in several countries. I really don't know any industrial product besides weapons and planes. And those we have enough here in Europe! Too much! We sell them to USA and the rest of the world if it has the money for it. Some cars are made in USA, but the factories have international owners, maybe Bin Laden's or other oil-billion-family. And US-cars are droven in Europe alltimes only by debile ... Good point. We in the US do not produce and sell a variety of products anymore. Dulios and I lived in Muenster for a semester in college.
