It can construct simple designer nanoscale architectures. For complex DNA architectures, it will take a variety of applications such as DNA-based nanomotors, biosensing and drug delivery. Recently, researchers constructed a nanometer-sized tetrahedron out of single strand DNA. This method could be an advantage in assembling similar structures on a large scale.
