All the Memorial Day rhetoric does not change the fact the powers that be seem to view soldiers as players on a chess board -- lose the pawns -- it's OK as long as the King is protected.

Nightshade

Memorial Day, I had always assumed, is to honour those who died to save the society and keep it free so that people may come along and make any unthought comments about it. I guess I for one am grateful to those who died to save America. Even if I am not an American.
