The court's ruling sparked hundreds of thousands of Iowans in conventional marriages to line up before activist judges pleading for immediate divorces claiming they saw no reason to go on being married. In addition, rumors of large swarms of locust appearing over Polk County have been confirmed along with unconfirmed massive fissures appearing around the District Courthouse.
