edj1963 says: I was a Republican when they were actually conservative, I voted for this.... Seriously; I repent, there are few things I have done in my life that I actually feel the need to repent for, but throwing my freedom away is one i likely will live to regret, hell, I already do. Throwing your freedom away is certainly a bad move, especially if you believe freedom is found on the Left end of the political spectrum . Falling for propaganda in the form of altered photographs is also a bad move. Doing both is unthinkable. However, we are in the age of stupidity. To each his own. Thank God for liberty. True sign of intelligence and courage is the ability to admit when one is wrong and is willing to fix it. I commend you for that edj1963. But then again, few knew that what was to come, he seemed innocuous at the time. And btw, being against the moron-in-chief should not make you more or less of a Republican. Country first, party second. It is not bad to be a Republican, it is just bad to be a stupid one. The point about Bush is well stated. Presidential? Ass-idential is more like it. hmm, no clear evidence in the photo that it has been shopped, if you have this photo and it is un retouched, please provide the link, and I'll gladly and with relief delete the clip. Liberty is far greater than a political party, it is far greater than the individual, it is far greater than a person being stupid, or intelligent. Liberty and the fruits there of are the ideological foundations of this great Republic and worth being afraid for, especially in the face of current legislation. I sir, will not go quietly into that dark night. If we lose liberty it will be the expense of the materialist machinations of the Left that seek equality through contrived anti-libertarian means. If you do not suspect that the photo is obviously shopped, then you are light-headed. It appears to be a frame-shot; he's beckoning someone with his hand. The integrity of this image is irrelevant. Only a president who is an ASS would fail to turn up to lay the wreath at Arlington on Veterans Day. How very Ass-idential of him. Yes, the arch-enemy Cheney did the honors this year. President Bush was in Texas speaking at an American Legion event honoring 4 Texas soldiers who had died in Iraq and meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, a most important ally. |
