Check out this picture of Rickshaw Wallah in India. Not as sleek and modern looking as the Toronto version, but same idea.

Better yet, Google rickshaw wallah. 7510 results. Not exactly a new idea.

Defn: wallah - ...a person of a certain trade, or from a certain place
etc; ie. rickshaw-wallah (rickshaw driver), chai-wallah (tea seller),
Delhi-wallah (a person from Delhi).

Rickshaws were the first thing I thought of on seeing these....only rickshaws are not environmentally friendly....these seem like a good idea...

They've got the rickshaws too in Toronto. Usually around the summer. Every once in a while, Trojan sponsors them and the guys go out all clad gladiator-like.

yes rickshaws were form dacades in Toronto - but they're extremely EXPENSIVE (average 'run' goes around 60 CAD) - as I understand these eco-cabs are free of charge...
