I'd live there with valann47, but I'd have to tear out all of those chandeliers but Mumbai may be too far away though...

Good point Rat! I bought my first home in 1985 for $45,900.00. At the time, it was a small fortune. Now an expensive vehicle can cost more and depreciate instead of appreciate in value.

dakotayii, there's a house in Toronto, probably the smallest house I've ever seen; maybe when it was built, it was the closest thing to being near a dollar: http://www.flickriver.com/photos/7307762@N05/2103995815

Thanks alanocu - I love that house. I live in a 660 sq foot beach bungalow and I think I can easily live in that space. The great thing about small space is you can easily clean from top to bottom in an hour. The draw back is you constantly have to get rid of thing or remove things to look for stuff.

@ swirl- I for one do not need a mansion , I preferred to kick back smoke some you know what and enjoy my free time looking at clouds and Clipmarks shit.

My first home was a 24000 cottage in the Laurentians with a 2 hour commute to Montreal. If I had it , I would give a billion to be back there again.

Great example of cottage housing! I think my first house would fit in its bathroom...
