Wow. I have found info on a Battle Creek Vibratory Chair.
"The chair shakes rather violently and is painful to sit in but after a few minutes of treatment it would supposedly stimulate intestinal peristalsis." I have been after one of these for ages but could not remember the name. And that was on the very first page of the first link. Magical.
